PFAN Meeting Highlights: January 21, 2016
- The North End Food Bank Steering Committee is still looking for a potential site. Contact Linda Midford at 705-876-0518 for more information.
- Volunteers are working together to offer a drop-in for homeless people on Sunday’s from 2-8pm before the Warming Room opens. A light lunch and snacks will be available. Donations are appreciated and can be dropped off at George St. United Church.
- Volunteers interested in meeting to continue working on the PFAN Workplan are asked to contact Carolyn Doris (cdoris@pcchu.ca or 705-743-1000 et 251). The group will report back at the next PFAN Meeting on February 18, 2016.
- Volunteers interested in meeting to further review the wording of the PCCHU Food Charter are asked to contact Carolyn Doris (cdoris@pcchu.ca or 705-743-1000 ext 251).
- Community Gardeners in the City and County of Peterborough report growing $360,000 worth of food in 2015!
